ARTICLE III, PURPOSE
3.01 Purpose
The Joshua Generation Inc. is a non-profit corporation and shall operate exclusively for the educational, charitable, social, religious, and public health purposes within the meaning of Section 501(c)3 of the Internal Revenue Code, or the corresponding section of any future Federal Tax code. The Joshua Generation Inc. purpose is to provide individuals who suffer from substance abuse disorders with the opportunity to recover their mental, physical & spiritual health with a physically safe, socially supportive environment through the following:
A. The sharing of ideas, struggles, challenges, spiritualities, beliefs, experiences, faith & hope, amongst a community of like-minded individuals from across different 12 step recovery & fellowship programs within publicly accessible forums.
B. To provide safe, clean & efficient housing during a recovering addicts transition back into society, at minimal cost to the individual through the corporation contracting with private owners & other 501(c)(3) non-profit entities for residential facilities that are compliant with all municipal
ordinances & State codes.
C. Foster, encourage & assist recovering addicts who have demonstrated a substantial effort to
become self-sustaining & sufficient in regard to improving their skillset & situation by pursing
education opportunities, gaining meaningful employment, learning new job skills, effectively
communicate, literacy, computer literacy, and other life skills necessary to return as a productive,
contributing member of society.
D. To financially assist the recovering individual who has maintained sobriety for a significant amount of time, has consistently worked a 12 Step Program encouraged by the Corporation, has acquired a Qualified Sponsor and demonstrated an ability to make appropriate decisions for their life during the course of their recovery.

The Joshua Generation Inc is designated as a public benefit corporation.
